Missions is an essential work of the local church. Christ sends us out to our Jerusalem, Judea, Samaria, and to the ends of the earth. We, therefore, focus on the local, state, national, and international work of the gospel.
Locally, East Frankfort Baptist Church is engaged in various outreaches which in our beloved city. We have adopted a local apartment whereby we host monthly events including egg hunts, Bible studies, trunk or treat, bloc parties, and other fun and engaging activities.
At the state level, our church supports church planting and other work. Reconciled Church is a church plant in Owenton, KY and EFBC is honored to serve as the Sending Church.
Internationally, we support several missionaries including one of our members who is currently in Panama reaching indigenous people. Likewise, we invite our members to support Operation Christmas Child which places gifts in shoeboxes that are they shipped overseas to bless children. Each box not only blesses children with Christmas gifts but opens the door to gospel engagement.
The full parameter of our mission work goes beyond this page, but the Lord continues to use East Frankfort to spread the good news of Jesus and we look forward to his continued work.
